Membership
A number of low-cost and no-cost services are available, particularly to new and smaller companies. Some of these services may be provided by Linc – The Lighting Cultivator™, a non-profit corporation that works closely with the LRC’s Lighting Technology Greenhouse program. Contact Eugene Schuler.
However, becoming a member of Lighting Technology Greenhouse provides many benefits, including:
- Advance briefing on lighting ideas (includes intellectual property, technology prototypes, service ideas, etc.)
- Free invitations to LTG events (featuring product showcases, networking events, product development workshops, etc.)
- Input on LTG activities
- Recognition as a member on LTG print and electronic publications and the LTG Web site.
The LTG membership fee is $25,000 per year for support of LTG operations.
LTG also has an advisory board, whose members advise LTG on policies and activities. Advisory board members are appointed by LRC principal investigators.
Non-member lighting companies, investors, entrepreneurs, component manufacturers, etc., are eligible to attend LTG events on a registration fee basis. These fees may be waived or discounted based on recommendations from LTG members.
